Notus Northern Icon - 245002

Icon is a stunning 3yo DOB 30/10/16, 15.1hh Bay heritage ASH colt, with perfect conformation. By Clovelly Tradition and out of Notus Tenacity, Icon is a half brother to Notus Powermax, same dam. We also own Icons full brother, Notus Envoy. After much deliberation we have made the decision to put Icon on the market. This has been a very difficult decision, as he has been the most beautiful horse to own. He has been a pleasure in every way to break in, ride and compete with. He has the most balanced, pleasurable way of going and his fly’s are just so natural, it is ridiculous. Icon has to be the nicest horse to ride, handle, manage that we have ever owned, you would never guess that he is a colt. There are so many good reasons to keep this horse as a sire, but we just want something bigger (due to us being all over 6' tall) and we think that his younger brother is going to be about 15.3hh, with the same lovely nature (just not as pretty as Icon). Icon is the most personable horse to prepare for shows and giving no indication that he is still a colt. He has competed at local ag shows, branch shows and Nationals, with much success. We have not put him across mares, due to the drought, which has been a huge dissapointment.  If he is not sold as an entire horse in the next few months, the decision will be made to geld him. The only reason these options are being considered is mum is at home on her own now, with limited facilities to keep more than one stallion. Icon is 100% sound, never missed a day’s works due to soreness or injury.  He is fantastic to have at home in the paddock or on his own, he never cares and never gets into any mischief. He has the lovelist ground manners, great to load, (truck or straight load not a problem), a greast traveller and has done lots of big trips. Not one issue under saddle, never ever, bucked, bolted, reared, pigroooted, shied or even snorted. Currently in show condition, rugged, stabled and in work. Video will be put up shortly. Competition photos are from his campaigned 2yo show run, has not done much this last 12 months due to my work commmittments since leaving school. This is a one in a million horse, and we are very fortunate to have the option to consider even thinking of putting him on the market. Asking $15,000 which we think is a steal, but priced to meet the market.
