Child’s pony 11.2hhHorses - Whytes Rd, Baranduda VIC 3691 -
Beautiful small child's pony. Approximately 11.2hh. 9 years old. Welsh/Shetland cross mare.
Awesome free running lead line pony for any age 2-10 years. Or suit confident beginner 6 years plus for independent riding. Quiet but forward moving in a dressage or small paddock environment. Can be strong and keen to run in big paddocks. Will walk quietly on trail rides. Absolutely fantastic to lead from another horse. You can put complete beginners on her to lead at walk and trot and she's perfect. Runs freely alongside with no drama.
Did several years of pony club and won many ribbons at ag shows, pc events, games. Awesome games pony as she has a super fast and responsive trot. Great with other horses and great to take out and about. Excellent in the float, will stay there all day.
Laminitis pony on a special diet of speedibeet, maxisoy, oat chaff and plain pasture hay. You must have a grass and weed free area to keep her on. Full X-rays and vet report available. Her pedal bones are good. Now has front shoes on and this has made a huge difference. 2 hour trail ride recently with a 50 kg 13 year old on board. Very good on the road. Doesn't spook at much, usually only if in a new unfamiliar place. Really lovely pony who has been part of the family for almost 8 years. Her rider outgrew her a long time ago as you can see from the photos. You are welcome to ride/trial the pony at our Agistment but no off property trial.
Children can crawl all over her, under her, slide off her rump, do handstands against her. Never bites or kicks. Great with feet, etc. Shod again 10/12. Recently wormed. Comes with 2 winter rugs and full gear.
