Beautiful All-RounderHorses - Hendra QLD 4011 -
Fast and Thorny ‘Thor’
It is with great sadness that I must offer my gelding for expressions of interest, due to no fault of his own.
This highly emotional decision has been brought about by personal hardship. Tyre kickers will be swiftly asked to move on and suspected scammers will be reported.
Thor is a quirky 16.2hh OTTB born in 2008. A true all-rounder, he will give anything a go if you ask. He has established his lateral work and is schooling up to 90cm at home. Thor has done all sorts of pony club activities and competitions with both myself and his previous owner, from sporting to beach rides. Living in the heart of the racing community in Hendra, he has been a fantastic horse to ride out on the busy suburban streets with racing stables on ever corner. Nothing bothers him. My fondest memory with him is riding him across Nudgee Rd to a local cafe.
On the flat, Thor is more ‘woah’ than ‘go’, needing a fair amount of leg to get going. Once warmed up, he is a steady ride - though must be ridden correctly to perform at his optimum. In saying this, he can get anxious when at events, so he will only be sold to a confident rider who won’t be phased by this and can encourage him forward into relaxation. He also enjoys the jumping so can get a bit quick and needs help with his pacing. His brakes are excellent, and will always come back when asked.
He is easy to catch, shoe, worm, float and lunge. He loves other horses, and is no problem to share a paddock with others. However, he must eat from a hay net.
Priced as is due to a lack of consistent work. His price will go up as he is brought back into it.

Please keep the following in mind..
- If it's too good to be true, it normally is
- Always try to speak to someone on the phone, sometimes phone numbers aren't supplied but email them and ask for one
- If they are asking you to send money, do it through a method you trust and that offers you some protection (fraudsters will often try and make you pay through a method that suits them and will have a reason/excuse for wanting to use this method)
