Nicoya (aka Elsa ❄️)

Trusting (sire) x Rica Picante (dam)

16.1hh 6yo OTTB Mare

Elsa retired from racing December 2019 and came straight to me! She is easy to shoe, catch, float and worm!

Since then I have been retraining her in eventing and dressage and shows very promising potential.

Attended many cross country clinics, show jump lessons, dressage freshmans and many more outings! Very easy to take out and about.

Has established leg yields, walk to canters, shoulder ins and learning travers. Very soft mouth and good off the leg. Carries herself nicely.

After a lot of consideration, the reason for sale is due to Elsa’s new rearing habits that have arisen over the past 2 months. I have had her scoped, teeth checked, physio, saddles fitted and done a course of hormone treatment but none has seemed to have worked. I think she needs someone with more time and experience in dealing with her behaviours.

I have plenty of video footage and many photos of how Elsa was working prior to these behaviours and if someone can figure out the cause then you’ll have an absolutely fantastic horse on your hands!!

Genuine enquiries only

Will only be sold to an experienced horse person

Priced at $5000 neg

This horse is worth so much and means a lot to me but I feel as though I am a little out of my depth. I will be selective with where she goes as she truly is a lovely mare
